Catalog descrition… HIGH LIFTER RUBICON/RINCON FRONT FENDER KIT ALLOW OVERSIZED TIRES TO BE MOUNTED ON FRONT OF RUBICONS AND RINCONSWITHOUT RUBBING! The Honda 500 Rubicon comes from the factory with small fender and floorboard support rods crossing the inside rear corner of the front fender well. These rods are about 5/6" and also support the floorboards. When oversized tires (larger than 26 x 9.5) are mounted on the Rubicon or Rincon, they will rub the support rods and have the potential to damage the ATV. To overcome this problem, High Lifter has designed a heavy-duty replacement bracket that removes the rod and allows mounting of up to 28 x 10.5 tires (with a lift kit) on the front of the ATV. The replacement bracket does not reduce ground clearance or present an opportunity to hang on logs, etc. No drilling, cutting or permanent modification is required for installation.
